    S. 744 on its Way to the Senate Floor & House SKILLS Visa Act Introduced

As ACIP members I hope you are getting ready to join us in Washington DC at our annual Symposium June 3-6 to get the latest updates from experts inside the beltway on the immigration legislation that is moving through Congress! In fact, in case you missed it, the Senate and House have both been oozing with immigration activity that is making national headlines, from the SKILLS Visa Act (H.R. 2131), recently introduced House, to a recent announcement by House leaders, to the Senate’s Border Security, Economic Opportunity and Immigration Modernization Act (S. 744) soon to be moving to the Senate floor!

ACIP’s Symposium is perfectly timed giving you the opportunity to impact the debate by joining us as we visit with Capitol Hill offices shaping the legislation on our Monday, June 3 Advocacy Day, to our Tuesday, June 4 legislative panel moderated by our Chairman Austin Fragomen, where he will be joined by key Senate and House Judiciary staff to get their thoughts on whether the legislation has a chance of passing and becoming law this year.
