The American Council on International Personnel (ACIP) delivers to its members what no other organization can – a singular focus on providing employers with the knowledge, network and access needed to advance employment-based immigration of highly educated professionals.
Membership in ACIP grants employers access to the most trusted and visionary leadership on employment-based immigration. In addition, membership demonstrates your commitment to maintaining the highest standards of immigration practice and compliance.
Who Can Join?
Membership is available to employers with 500+ employees worldwide and an operating presence in at least one location outside the United States. In determining eligibility, ACIP gives consideration to smaller employers cooperating under an umbrella organization or brand, as well as colleges, universities and research institutions with international programs.
What Does Membership Cost?
Membership is currently offered at the rate of $990 per year. When an employer becomes an ACIP member, membership is extended to all employees who can benefit from our services, such as human resources executives, general counsel, in-house immigration specialists and relocation coordinators, exchange visitor program administrators, staffing and development professionals, and compliance managers.
What Can ACIP Membership Do for You?
Provide you with the networking and relationship-building opportunities that are essential for in-house immigration professionals.
We provide a forum for brainstorming and building personal relationships with others in your field through our in-person and online networking opportunities. In-house immigration professionals – from human resources, legal and international departments – can connect to share best practices, professional development and technical support.
Give you access to a superior J-Visa Exchange Program for the integration of global workforces with American business practices.
ACIP allows organizations to connect their critical talent to the training and education needed to remain competitive in the global marketplace through its highly regarded J-1 Visa Exchange Program. Delegating the responsibilities of J-1 visa sponsorship to our trained team of professionals streamlines procedures, mitigates legal risk and ensures a smooth transition for participants.
Deliver high-quality, employer-driven solutions through a cooperative, non-adversarial approach.
ACIP collaborates among members and government agencies to develop and implement timely, high-quality, reasonable and practical solutions that take into account the broader organizational goals and processes of our member organizations.
Bridge you to Federal policymakers and serve as a liaison on legislative and regulatory matters.
We help employers understand compliance obligations, and we inform policymakers of the global workforce needs of our members. We provide personalized, technical assistance to members on an as-needed basis and deliver practical analyses of the latest immigration laws, legislation, regulations and policies.
Promote professional development through education and training.
ACIP offers workshops, real-time alerts, “hot topics” teleconferences, topic-specific discussion groups, benchmarking surveys and our Annual Symposium for the personal and organizational development of our members. Join now and let ACIP go to work for you!
